This updated online Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is provided to users of The Bicycle Hotel & Casino’s (the “Bike”) websites (“Sites”). The Bike is owned by The Bicycle Casino, L.P. and this policy applies to the owners and any affiliate or related company (collectively “The Bike” for purposes of this Policy). This detailed update is provided to give users more detailed information about how any personal identifying information (“PII”) is used by the Bike, and to provide a procedure for user to ‘opt-out’ if they do not wish to permit PII to be used to enhance their Site experience. Although the Bike is not an employer currently covered by Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation, this Policy is consistent with the Regulation and California state and/or applicable law related to rights of privacy in PII and this Policy is effective May 25, 2018. The Bike’s Sites include www.thebike.com and any other websites that display or link to this Privacy Policy. Any one of the Sites may ask for and collect PII in order to enhance your experience and provide you with relevant information. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. We collect certain personal information based upon and as a result of the use of our Sites by visitors and subscribers (referred to herein as “you” or “your”). Pursuant to law, persons under the age of twenty-one (21) are not permitted to gamble at our property or be present in casino areas. Similarly, our Sites are not intended for persons under the age of twenty-one (21). In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, persons younger than 21 years of age are not allowed to use our Sites, or accept offers, and we do not knowingly collect information from such persons. The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Children are not permitted to use the Sites or services, and The Company requests that children under the age of 13 not submit any personal information to the Sites. Since information regarding children under the age of 13 is not collected, The Company does not knowingly distribute personal information regarding children under the age of 13.
11. Changes to Privacy Policy
Over time, it may be necessary to modify or supplement our Privacy Policy. When we make changes, we will post the changes to our websites and change the date at the top of the policy. We use surveillance systems to monitor all offline gaming areas and other public or sensitive areas of our properties. Video surveillance cameras are used for security purposes and to protect us, our customers and employees against potential violations of criminal or civil laws. Surveillance camera output is monitored by our employees and contractors and may be viewed by law enforcement and regulatory authorities.
13. Non-U.S. Residents
Unless otherwise specified, our Site and material provided on our Site are solely for promoting products, programs, and business operations within the U.S. If you do not reside in the U.S. and are visiting this Site, if you provide Personal Information to us, it may be transferred to and processed on computers in the U.S. and other countries. Do not provide your Personal Information to us if you do not want this information to be transferred outside of your country, or if the laws in your country restrict these types of transfers. Obtaining your personal information is subject to: The supply of appropriate evidence of your identity; and we may withhold such personal data to the extent permitted by law.
- If you would prefer not to receive further emails from us, please follow the unsubscribe link in the email. You will be removed from the mailing list within 7 days of receiving your request.
- We may from time to time send promotional materials to you by direct mail. If you do not want to receive promotional materials by direct mail from us, please email optout@thebike.com. Your name and address will be removed from that mailing list within 30 days after your request.
- If you prefer that we do not share any personal information, please click here to download the opt-out form(PDF), complete it and scan and email it to optout@thebike.com. Opting out will not prevent your Personal Information from being shared with our affiliates for any purpose or used for other non-marketing purposes described above in this Privacy Policy.
- You can ask us to restrict or limit the processing of your data, revoke your consent to processing, ask whether certain information about you will be visible to others, or ask us to delete your data, by sending an email to info@thebike.com.
- You may instruct us to remove personal data under your rights of the General Data Protection Regulation. Any removal will be limited to regulatory compliance and what is permitted by law.
- Even after you deactivate your account, we may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business or safety purposes. If your account is deactivated, we will provide access to the data associated with the deactivated account upon receipt of the required legal documentation.
